MT. BALDHEAD CHALLENGE mbhcfacebook

Mt. Baldhead Stairs: The new Mt. Baldhead Stairs have regular rises, solid steel rails, landings and rest areas all the way to the top of Mt. Baldhead. The City of Saugatuck’s  stairway has long been a symbol of the Community and offers one of the most specatular veiws in Southwest Michigan.

Once on top of the 600' dune, one can see Saugatuck, Dogulas and the Kalamazoo River Valley to the east and Lake Michigan to the west. For nearly 60 years, the stairway provided access to one of west Michigan’s tallest dunes.
