
Once on top of the 600' dune, one can see Saugatuck, Dogulas and the Kalamazoo River Valley to the east and Lake Michigan to the west. For nearly 60 years, the stairway provided access to one of west Michigan’s tallest dunes.

this time. The

TIME LIMIT?
Yes. The finish line will close at 11:30 AM. Participants
finishing after this time cannot be included in the official
results.
WHAT ARE
THE TYPICAL WEATHER CONDITIONS ON RACE DAY?
Average temps range from the low 60's to 70's at 7:30 am and climb
throughout the morning.
WHERE DO I
PARK ON FRIDAY AND/OR SATURDAY?
Parking will be available downtown Douglas and areas in Douglas
adjacent to Center Street and Blue Star Highway. More than a 1,000
volunteers and participants
will be looking for parking all at the same time. Please plan to
arrive early for an easier parking experience.
WHAT WILL
BE AVAILABLE AT THE AID STATIONS? Restrooms?
Water and ice will be available at all Event Aid Stations (see
course map for specific locations. Post-race refreshments and snacks
will also be available upon finish at
Beery Field, downtown Douglas. Restroom facilities (ADA) will be
available at start & finish site, downtown Douglas.
